Stephanie Buntain, DVM

Dr. Buntain graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She practiced at a mixed animal practice here in Texas for three years before joining our family in 2016. Dr. Buntain is originally from Lewisville, Texas but has found her heart is here in the Hill Country. She has a Lab Mix, named Mia. You may often see Mia relaxing in the “doctor’s office” here in the clinic. She is always looking for a treat! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling!

Diron Wunderlich, DVM

Dr. Wunderlich is a true local as he is a 1986 Graduate of Smithson Valley High School! He went on to Southwest Texas State University and completed his Veterinary Degree at Texas A&M University. He married his sweetheart Roxanne (Were) in June of 1990. He has two children that keep him very busy; Hannah who is attending Texas A&M University and Kayla who is attending Canyon Lake High School! In his spare time he is running Wunderlich Show Pigs which is a 20 sow operation that deals with breeding, raising and showing pigs. Ranching, hunting, fishing and relaxing by the pool are his favorite outdoor activities. Oh and we can’t forget being a huge College Football fan!

In order to offer you the best, all team members are required to complete a 12 month staff training and education course. Upon completion, the team member is considered “Canyon Certified”. Everyone in the Canyon Family works hard to complete this course and is proud to be Canyon Certified!
